What’s Google Doing With All That Dark Fiber?
Starting a few years ago, Google began buying thousands of miles of so-called “dark fiber”--fiberoptic communications wiring that was installed in the ground but going unused. The fiber was historically cheap thanks to a fiberoptic building boom that had gone bust, allowing the Mountain View search giant to acquire large amounts of it for pennies on the dollar.

VoipDiscount with Call Forwarding

VoipDiscount is an internet phone and has Call forwarding capability. The GUI design is very similar to other Finerea Voips but the rates are lower for some destinations. Now you can call 52 countries for free as against 45 and 39 countries in the case of internet calls and voipstunt respectively. The latest addition to the list of free countries are Brazil and Czech Republic. Like others before it Voipdiscount has call forwarding, you can forward your voip-in and P2P calls to any phone number of your choice, the forwarded calls will be charged at the voipdiscount standard rates which mean free if the number is in one of the free countries. I have tested it and the audio quality is very good much like all other voip clients from Finarea.
